HANDS believes that collaboration and the exchange of best practices with local medical professionals can reduce infant mortality and morbidity in Ethiopia.

Our short-term objective is to improve the care provided by existing Ethiopian neonatal intensive care units through capacity building for NICU personnel and the provision of tools and equipment.

Volunteer medical teams bring together doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists to provide health care services and education. Our mission is to support local expertise and build lasting capacity.
